Individuals that never worked for the Fund,
not only collected salaries and benefits, but will in the future
collect pensions. How much longer should you have to paid for
the corruption that toke place???
On December 31, 1998, the Controller of the Trust Fund, left his employment with a "sweetheart" deal. In 1997, a report was filed by the Investigating Officer regarding this individual and was presented to the Trustees. The Investigationg officer requested the immediate "removal" of this individual. However, the Trustees allowed him to work for an additional year and let him "retire" at age 55. Why was a corrupt individual given a deal? After requesting a copy of the report, I was told that this report is "highly confidential" and caanot be shared with participants or beneficiaries of the Fund. It was also NOT an issue presented to Judge Seeet. It was a matter that was handled privately!! Whay was it handled privately an why isn't the membership allowed to see the report?
Why was the loss of your annuity money only
attributed to "bad investments", whi in reality, it
was also embezzled by a staff member???? Have youseen any compensation
fot that??
