Mr. Robert D. Luskin, GEB Attorney
2550 M Street, N. W.
Washington D. C. 20037- 1350

Dear Mr. Luskin,

I would like to know the exact amount of money to be paid to Coia. Will his pension be supplemented on the $250,000 salary quoted in the press or on $335,000 reported on the 1998 LM2 form?

The membership of LIUNA is entitled to know these things under the LIUNA Ethics and Disciplinary Procedures.

I know you and I both want reform and democracy in LIUNA. We both have a fiduciary duty to the members of LIUNA to make sure they are informed of these kind of agreements.

Never was it mentioned in the LIUNA magazine that our General President and the U.S. Justice Department were negotiating a plea bargain agreement. This agreement will pay a felon a salary for the rest of his life out of the working members pockets.

It isn't reform or democracy or ethical, when workers are forced to pay a salary to a felon without a vote of the membership.

Sincerely yours

Alex Corns
